Video Gallery

Please Note
If you intend to delete a file from the file manger then you must make sure that it is not selected in the Content Browser. If the file is selected in the content browser then first use the content browser to select another image or delete the entry. If you do not remove the link to the file you delete then the render process will not render you page correctly.

 

If all the photos for your video gallery are in the same folder then why not use the Collections Wizard to maintain this gallery, click here for details.

Adding a new video.

  1. To add a new video first upload the files in to the corresponding folder in the file manager.

  2. Next location the collection in the Content Browser. Double click collections, then double click videos. Now Double Click the Video Collection.

  3. From the list of templates select the Video Collection option, if you wish to edit this straight away ensure that edit immedicatly is ticked before you click the template.

  4. If you choose to edit immediatly then the edit window will now appear. Otherwise a new blank item will be added to the bottom of the list. Select this item with a single click and choose Edit Block.

  5. Now add the details of the photo item. You can choose an image by click chose image, you can also upload a new video here.

  6. Repeat this process to each new item to be added.

  7. Once you are finished you are ready to render the changes to the website.

Deleteing a video.

  1. Location the collection in the Content Browser. Double click collections, then double click videos. Now Double Click the Video Collection.

  2. You should now see a list of items within the given collection.

  3. Locate the item to be deleted. Single Click it and choose Remove Block

  4. Repeat this process to each item to be removed.

  5. Once you are finished you are ready to render the changes to the website.

Editing a video.

  1. Location the collection in the Content Browser. Double click collections, then double click videos. Now Double Click the Video Collection.

  2. You should now see a list of items within the given collection.

  3. Locate the item to be edited. Single Click it and choose Edit Block

  4. Now enter the details for the new item and choose write.

  5. Repeat this process to each item to be edited.

  6. Once you are finished you are ready to render the changes to the website.
