Bulk Email
What is bulk email? If you intend to send email to a number of email addresses on a regular or semi-regular basis then this is considered bulk email. You should not really send email to more than 10-20 people at a time.
Via Our Server
Our servers are not designed to send bulk emails. Using our servers can result in emails not being delivered as receiving servers block large numbers of emails as part of Denial of Service Attack protection or Spam protection.
Our servers are shared by many users and the effects of sending bulk email is that the server could become spam black listed which will stop all email functionality. In order to prevent this we reserve the right to prevent our server from being used for bulk mailing. These measure can include restricting the number of emails that can be sent or block access to the mail server. These measures are design to maintain the availably of service to all clients.
We recommend that if you wish to send bulk email that you either use the services of a bulk email service, install software on your computer specifically designed for sending bulk email or switch to using your IPS's mail server.
We reserve the right to revoke services for non-compliance.
Via Your ISP
If you are trying to send the same email to a number of different people you may encounter problems when sending the email. Many ISP's now operate restrictions on the number of email addresses that an email can be sent to.
