Windows Mobile 6 Devices
To configure your Windows Mobile 6 device for a non Exchange email account:
Open Messaging (Start | Programs | Messaging)
Select Setup E-mail
Enter your email address in E-mail address:
Enter your password in Password:
Click Next
Uncheck "Try to get e-mail settings automatically from the Internet"
Click Next
Pull down "Internet e-mail" from the setting Your e-mail provider:
Click Next
Enter you full name in Your name:
Account display name: should read your domain. You can leave this as is or name it whatever you like.
Click Next
Enter your incoming mail domain in Incoming mail server:
Your mail domain is your domain name with mail. in front. For example 3legs.com would be mail.3legs.com
Account type: is POP3
Click Next
Enter your full email address (not an alias) in User name:
Enter your password in Password:
Select Save Password
Click Next
Select your outgoing mail domain in Outgoing (SMTP) mail server:
Your mail domain is your domain name with mail. in front. For example 3legs.com would be mail.3legs.com
Check Outgoing server requires authentication
Leave everything else checked
Click Next
Adjust Automatic Send/Receive: to your own preferences
Click Finish
