Adding Multiple Products

If you are adding more than one product we would recommend that you follow the following procedure to enter the data in the most efficient manor. Ideally you should prepare the details of the products you wish to add in a separate text file and the copy and paste this information into the web page form. This information should include the name, description, price, image filename etc.. for each product.

1. Go to the file manager and upload all the images for the products you are going to add. Adding all the images at the same time is quicker than switching from the product tree to the file manager for each product.

2. Go to the Product Tree V2 and add all the new categories that you require. Once this is done refresh the product tree by clicking the product tree link again.

3. Locate the required category and click the add new product link. Enter the details of the product and then click commit. At this point do not refresh the product tree.

4. Repeat step 3 until you have added all the new products are added. Then refresh the product tree by clicking the product tree link.

5. You now need to set any item or product attributes for the products you have just entered.

6. Finally once all the products have been entered and the appropriate attributes set you will need to export the product catalogue

If the image you wish to upload already exists in the file manager you must first delete the image before uploading the new image.
