Editing a Category

Depending on the template used on your website there is selection of information that you can change.

  1. In the Product Tree V2 locate the category that you wish to edit and click it so that the pop-up menu appears.
  2. Choose edit category from the pop-up menu.
  3. You now have a number of options available. (The use of these is dependent on your product catalogue template)



    Category Name - This is the name used for the given category

    Category Image - This is the small image used to represent the category in a list of sub-categories

    Additional Images 1 & 2 - Depending on your product catalogue template these are images that are displayed on your category page. Please refer to any special instructions for details of how these are used.

    Description 1 & 2 - Depending on your product catalogue template these are descriptions that are displayed on your category page. Please refer to any special instructions for details of how these are used.

  4. Once you have made any changes click commit to save these changes.
  5. You will need to export the Product Catalogue before the change appears on your website.

Please Note
New categories or changes to existing categories will not appear on your website until you export the product catalogue.
