The first row of the toolbar allows you to format the text in the HTML Box.
To use these options just highlight the text to be formatted by left clicking to the left on the text and with the mouse button still pressed move the mouse until all the required text is highlighted. The choose the appropriate option from the toolbar.
Sometimes when you paste text into the HTML editor additional formatting code is copied over which interferes with the look of that text. This needs to be removed to allow the default styling to apply. To remove any formatting select the text, including some text before and after, then click . Now you need to check that the paragraphs of text are correctly assigned as paragraphs. To do this select the paragraphs of text, not lists or tables, and from the format menu click “Normal”.

Your website will have default styling for paragraphs, lists, tables and heading. Using the format menu you can apply heading styles to text in your site.
Depending on your site you may have custom styling options for Paragraphs or images. These can be applied by doing the following.

For images, you may see options for img.widthXX these are used to make the image selected scaled to a specific width of the page.
