Outlook for Office 365

To set up Outlook 365, perform the following steps:

  1. Open Outlook
  2. Click File
  3. Click the Add Account button
  4. Enter your email address, DO NOT click connect yet
  5. Click Advanced Options and then click "Let me set up my account manually" , then click Connect
  6. Click Account Type Select IMAP , then click Next
  7. Outlook will fail to connnect as it does not have the correct server details
  8. Now click Change Account Settings
  9. Fill in the settings for your new email account.
  10. Click Ok and then Connect. Outlook will now verify that it can login and finish setting up the email account.
  11. Then click Finish

After outlook has done its setup you macy need to go and check that the server settings are correct.
