Mail on MacOS

  1. Then you must change your Account Settings to remember the updated password. Go to the Apple menu and select Accounts.
  2. Choose the correct email account and then type in your new password.
  3. On Outgoing Mail Server (SMTP) click on the drop down arrows.
  4. Select Edit SMTP Server List... 
  5. Select the account for and Click on the Advanced tab, then type in your new password.
  6. Click OK.
  7. When you close out of the Account Box, it will prompt you to save changes: click Save.
